How to answer an eviction notice in Nevada, get free legal aid in Las Vegas and Reno, get your deposit back, and report housing discrimination or unfair landlord practices.
Hi friend. A notice on your door can feel scary, but it does not mean you have to leave today. Read it, act fast, and file your answer. Free legal help is here in Nevada.
Nevada landlords must serve a notice before an eviction. For unpaid rent it is a Seven Day Notice to Pay Rent or Quit, or four days if you rent by the week. A no cause notice is thirty days, or seven days for weekly renters. Read it closely, because it explains your options to stay.

Your landlord has no later than 30 days after your tenancy ends to return your deposit, or give you a written list of what was kept and why, plus any money left. If a court finds the landlord kept it wrongly, they can be ordered to pay you up to twice the deposit.
