Quick answers

How do I get help applying for SNAP?

The NH Food Bank SNAP team helps you complete your application online. Call 877 347 7627 or email snap@nhfoodbank.org. The page does not list hours, so leave a message if no one answers.

How do I find a food pantry?

Use the Food Map on the NH Food Bank website and enter your city or town. It lists partner pantries and soup kitchens, but not every place, so you can also dial 211. You can call the food bank at 603 669 9725.

Do I need ID at a mobile food pantry?

No. The NH Food Bank says mobile pantries are drive thru, first come, first served while supplies last, and you do not need to show ID. Each household gets a mix of produce and shelf stable food.

What is WIC and who is it for?

WIC gives health services and food vouchers to pregnant and breastfeeding women and children under 5. Community action agencies such as CAPHR in Hillsborough and Rockingham counties list WIC among their services. Dial 211 to find a clinic near you.

I'm 60 or older. Is there food help for me?

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) gives free food and nutrition information to adults 60 and older. CAPHR and Southwestern Community Services list it among their programs. Ask your local agency how to sign up.
