It is free. Bunklow never touches rent. We read your listings again every day, and a home that leaves your page comes down within a day.

What we accept

A listings page. AppFolio, Buildium, Rent Manager, Propertyware, TenantCloud, RentRedi, Yardi Breeze, or any website of your own. We read the public page where your homes are listed, and each home's own page. We open only pages on your own web address, or your own address on your software, and never a listing site.

An API key. Rentvine, with your API Access Key and Secret. Rentec Direct, with your API key. We store them encrypted and use them only to read your listings.

A feed. MITS ILS XML, the common rentals format: PhysicalProperty, Property, PropertyID, Floorplan, ILS_Unit, File for photos, and Fee and Policy where you have them. Also Zillow Rental Feed XML, HotPads RentalListings XML, or a simple JSON form of the same fields. Fields we do not use are ignored.

ShowMojo and Tenant Turner. They have no public way for us to read your homes. Connect through your listings page or feed.

For each home we read the company name, city, state, beds, baths, square feet, rent, fees as you publish them, description, photos, availability, and the contact email and phone as you publish them.

Software partners and posting services

We give each partner an id and a private key. Write to info@bunklow.com to get yours.

Or give us the link to your feed and we read it once a day. Links work for feeds of any size.

The answer is your intake report, home by home. You can read the last one again with a GET and your key.

What each home needs

The company name: OrganizationName on Identification, or the Name in Management, or company in JSON. A page or an API key uses the company name from the form.
City and state, and the rent for that home. A rent that is only a range is skipped, and the report says why.
At least 3 photos. See Photos below.

We publish the address without the house number. Visitors ask the company for it when they schedule a viewing.

Photos

Send at least 3 photos for every home, 800 pixels wide or more, front photo first. JPG, PNG or WEBP.

We open every photo link, drop any that are broken, too small or repeated, and tell you which in your report. A home goes live with at least 3 working photos. With fewer, it waits as Needs photos and shows in your report. The next read that finds 3 or more publishes it.

We copy your photos into our own storage and remove their location data, so your listing never shows a broken picture. To replace a photo, change it on your page or in your feed.

Checked before it goes live

Every listing is checked for fair housing language and rental scam signs, in English and Spanish, before it goes live. A listing that is flagged is held, never published, and the report gives the reason so you can fix the wording.

A clean listing goes live at once and our team reads it for accuracy afterward. Every edit is checked again on each daily read. A home that leaves your page or feed comes down within a day.

Each home shows your company name and links back to your own page. Screening details are left out of the public description.
