Non driver ID at no cost

A Connecticut non driver ID usually costs $28. The DMV says that if you are unhoused or living in a shelter, you can get one at no cost with proof of Connecticut residency from an authorized shelter or transitional housing program. Homeless youth need Form B 230 signed by a school homeless liaison or a qualifying shelter or program. Fill out Form B 230 before your appointment.
