1. Bunklow is not a licensed firm or brokerage. We do not receive or handle rent, security deposits, or leasing fees. When you pay a third-party vendor, those funds are not paid to Bunklow. Rent, deposits, and payments between renters and owners never pass through Bunklow. Bunklow charges only for its own products (Pro tools, guides, and books) and may earn commissions from partners, as disclosed. Meet in public first. See the room. Written agreement before any deposit.
2. Never wire, crypto, gift card, Zelle, Venmo, or cash for a deposit before you have seen the place. If you are in danger, call 911. Report a listing on the listing.
3. We do not ID people or inspect homes. Check smoke and CO alarms, egress, locks, and, if ownership matters to you, the county assessor. That checklist is yours.
4. Shared room: two or more beds in one room, often no privacy lock. Confirm occupancy where the home sits, cities set their own caps. Bunklow does not inspect.
5. RV and unique stays: often not a residential tenancy. Zoning, wastewater, and lodging tax are the poster’s problem. Bunklow does not collect that tax.
6. Report on the listing or Write us (info@bunklow.com). We review and may remove a post. We do not promise a 48-hour clock.
